Romantic- Shabby Chic Bedroom ideas

As i have seen that the post of " Romantic bedroom design" 

had such a succes, i thought it would be nice to give you more ideas. 
The shabby chic style, which i have spoke before, is one of the most romantic and not an easy to do interior design style. 
Shabby chic refers to using old restored furniture, or new one that has the old apearence, and it imposes itself through the much use of the color white, and the floral prints. It is true that it is a more girlish style, but what i can say, a bedroom like decorated like this inspires me to romance, resting and holiday ideas. :)

Modern Baby Nursery

Inspired by one of my friends who is 6 moths pregnant and trying to find an idea about how to decorate it, i thought it would be nice to post something about how to decorate your nursery rooms.

Without taking into consideration the interior design trends, and just going on the classic, you have to take into consideration that the baby room has to be colourfull and fun. You can let your imagination go, and inspire yourself from the wonderfull stories that you heard in your childhood and you will tell your child. Transform yourself in the little child you were and remember what you wished you had in your room :), was it a princess palace, or a pirate ship, maybe a sunny field of flowers .....

It is not a rule to use white furniture in the baby's room, or the blue for boys and pink for girls room, be more creative then that. But keep in mind that if you choose a dark furniture, you must make the walls white, or combined with colours, and bring the baby feel with stuff animals, flower decorations, and baby preparation accesories.

One modern idea that i love is usign as wall decoration some 3D letters, that may spell the baby's name, a motto of the family, or some inspirational words.

Summer Terrace Design Ideas

Now that it is almost summer and we all love to sit in the sun and look at the beautifull blossoming nature, i thought it would be a good ideea to give you some inspiration how to make you terrace, nice and cozy! 


When you think of decorating your terrace or your small nice view balcony you must keep in mind the following:


1. choose comfortable chairs or sun beds so you and your family or friends could sit nicely many hours
2. choose a table suitable for what you want your terrace to be adresed for: for serving a coffe- then a small nice cofee table, for serving barbeque meals- then a bigger maybe wood table and so on;
3. make it fun , colourfull, add plants and flowers
4. the chaby chic style goes very well on this area
5.find your inspiration in one of the summer holidays you loved!

Romantic Bedroom Design

Romance..... mhhh, who doesn't want it in their bedroom? :) It is actualy pretty simple to make a romantic design in your bedroom, by just keeping in your mind one simple rule: it is all about the bed ! :)


The chosen bed should be large, imposing, and light coloured ( white, creamy, light brown ). Add some drapes above the bed, made from silk or vail, also white or a complementery colour with the bed. Also a floral wallpaper is welcomed, along with country chic decorations. As well you can go with white or light colour walls  and complete the romantic feeling with flower decorations and chic mirrors, or nature inspired pictures.

2012 modern interior design

This year the star colors in interior design are: grey, blue and yellow. That of course does not mean that you decorate all your house in this 3 colours :), but you can make a stand out with their help and present a modern design. Here are some examples of 2012 ideas.
