This year i have chosen to go on my holiday in Greece. This was my first time on a Greek island, and i must say i was very impressed and very inspired. Although i have read and seen a lot of pictures of the greek style house design i must say they look even better in reality. I have visited a lot of villages where many families from the continent have their summer villas, and i was amased about their very good taste in design.
Untill now i have not been a fan of using the color blue in the room design, as it gives me the feeling of a cold room. But seeing it in Greece, combined with all that white, and some red or orange, i am a total fan now, and i have found inspiration for decorating one of my rooms ...:)
A design like this will give the room a lot of light, a summer vacation feeling, and a very relaxing enviroment. Use the light version of blue, blue ciel or turcoaz, in the furniture, sofa, chairs, or decoration objects, and mix it with red, or coray. But remember, to mantain the Greek style, all walls must be white, and if you add some candles and colourfull flowers, it will become your therapy room... :).
